metalman employs most modern manufacturing facilities where tested quality coils are slitted and subjected to a series of forming operations. A microprocessor controlled High Frequency Induction Welder is used to weld the tube. The tube is sized to accurate dimensions and shape, prior to cutting in exact length by a digitally controlled cut-off machine. For Pressure Tubing the internal weld fin is also removed using special tools. For special purpose tubes, such as mirror bore finish tube etc., where outside dia. and inside dia. both are to be controlled and special finish required, the tubing rolled on the mill are first chemically treated and drawn with or without mandrel.

The tubes which are required for high pressure usage, tubes are heat treated in Continuous Furnace where Inert atmosphere is maintained. The tube is thereafter end-chamfered, hydraulically tested and galvanised on fully automatic machines. For safety during transit, the tubes are securely packed in hexagonal shaped bundles and suitably tagged for proper identifications.
