Metalman
commenced business on May 12, 1971 with production of black pipes. Soon
the company started producing specialised pipes and galvanising into
production facilities. |

The
company which was incorporated as a Private Limited Company, was converted
into a public limited company on 26th May 1986. Precision Tubes and Hollow Sections were then added to the product range, in the production facilites at Indore Plant. New manufacturing facilites were established at Pithampur Works to produce Cold Rolled Sheets and Coils and Galvanised Plain and Corrugated Sheets. The name of the company was changed from Metalman Pipe Manufacturing Company Limited, to Metalman Industries Limited with effect from 16th January 1996. The company is currently exporting its products all over the world and is determined to become a global player in Steel. |
